We held the Nistru Riverbank litter pickup for the Climauti de Jos segment last Thursday morning. It was a beautiful day and the kids were enthusiastic.  The turnout was extremely high, and we had the full cooperation of the school director and his teachers.   We collected about two horsecarts worth of garbage in under two hours.

Our flyer for our ecological art and literature contest

We are holding an art and literature contest in our community to promote our work with the environment.   We wanted to have as much publicity and impact as possible for our upcoming seminars and litter pickup days and thought that having this contest would maximize exposure and awareness in the community.  

The contest is open to all villagers, not only kids.  We want everyone to be able to participate, since the river affects all who live along it.  

We hope to have high numbers of entries!

Our Booklet "Raul Nistru - Comoara Noastra" is Published!!

We have published the booklet for our ecological education project.  Included are information about the Nistru river, science experiments and our argument for protecting the community's natural resources.  There are also many stunning photographs taken by Vasili Otel.  We hope that our villagers will read this booklet and better appreciate the natural beauty they have around them.

Stimati prieteni o zi buna! Iata ca au ramas 17 ore pina la inceperea alegerilor Parlamentare 2009. Suntem datori sa multumim tuturor beneficiarilor si voluntarilor, profesorilor si primarilor care au solicitat sa ne ajute la implementarea ptoiectului VOTUL TAU CONTEAZA- sustinut de ambasada SUA in RM. Ese numai inceputul acestui proiect de educatie si as vrea sa mentionez si sa le multumesc din suflet Directorului Gimnaziului din satul Socola D-na Paerele Valentina, Ceban Petru -Directorul Jimnaziului din Climautii de Jos ,D-na Odae Emilia -vice director Liceul teoretic Dumitru Matcovschi din Vadul-Rascov, Carpovici Alexandru Primar de Salcia si multi altii. Multumim din suflet pentru conlucrare.
Avet mai jos citevai secvente de la seminarele din Jimnaziile Climautii de Jos ,Socola si Liceul teoretic Dumitru Matcovschi din Vadul-Rascov. O convorbire cu cetatenii satului in incinta AO INFO-TERRA.
